Overview

An Amend Receipt should be provided to the customer whenever a previously initiated remittance transfer is amended/updated (e.g., correction of receiver details or other permitted transaction parameters). It serves as proof that a change was made and provides customer-facing confirmation of the updated transaction information.

How to implement

An Amend Receipt must be displayed to the customer after an amendment is executed. The Customer must be able to print, save, or email the Amend Receipt before exiting the completed amendment flow.

Only the fields actually amended are listed, with their updated values; superseded values are not reprinted. Account or wallet identifiers are shown masked (see Common Principles, C10).
4	Amendments may be restricted or unavailable depending on transaction status, service option, payout method, or destination requirements. If funds have already been picked up, paid out, or deposited, amendments are no longer possible. An amendment does not guarantee payout availability or outcome; availability remains subject to service rules and local requirements at the receiving location or financial institution.
