Amend Receipts
Overview
An Amend Receipt should be provided to the customer whenever a previously initiated remittance transfer is amended/updated (e.g., correction of receiver details or other permitted transaction parameters). It serves as proof that a change was made and provides customer-facing confirmation of the updated transaction information.
How to implement
An Amend Receipt must be displayed to the customer after an amendment is executed. The Customer must be able to print, save, or email the Amend Receipt before exiting the completed amendment flow.

Regulator / Complaint Authority Contact Info (Global): All amend receipts must include the contact information for the relevant consumer protection / financial services regulator (or complaint authority / ombudsman) applicable to the sender’s jurisdiction (country/region, and where relevant sub-national region). If there is no single national regulator/ombudsman mandated for display, the receipt must include the locally required complaint escalation channel as specified by MoneyGram for that market. |
